Coen Cadinha, CEO of Keiki Rise
Elevating Hawai‘i’s youth to lead, create, and thrive
Our vision is a Hawai‘i where every young person is empowered to rise as an innovator, leader, and creator, driving businesses, uplifting communities, and shaping a thriving future for Hawai‘i led by youth.

Coen Cadinha is a Native Hawaiian entrepreneur from Hauʻula and the founder of Keiki Rise, a youth-focused organization dedicated to empowering Hawaiʻi’s next generation of entrepreneurs, often referred to as Keiki Entrepreneurs. His entrepreneurial journey began at age 12 when he started selling candy and snacks, which evolved into his business, Big Boy Sweets, and expanded through local pop-up markets and the Mana-Up program. At 15, after receiving the Hawaiʻi Student Entrepreneur of the Year award, Coen founded Keiki Rise as part of a broader initiative to support Youth Business Hawaii, helping young entrepreneurs learn, grow, and thrive through their engaging youth entrepreneurship program, ultimately shaping the future of Youth Hawaii.

Leah is an 18-year-old Native Hawaiian artist and the owner of Mahea Leah. Her entrepreneurial journey began at age eight when she self-published her first book, The Feeling Flower, at ten. At fourteen, she expanded into graphic arts, creating Hawaiian food-themed enamel pins and stickers. Driven by her passion for culture and art, Leah participated in the Youth Business Hawaii program, particularly the Keiki Rise cohort in 2024, where she earned the Mayor’s Choice and Keiki Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Now, she collaborates with Keiki Rise’s program manager to inspire more keiki entrepreneurs and promote youth entrepreneurship in Hawaii.
